About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Embroidery & Digital Print Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating and maintaining embroidery machines as well as Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and Direct-to-Film (DTF) printers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of quality control, and the ability to manage multiple custom orders in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain embroidery machines, DTG, and DTF printers.
- Prepare garments, textiles, and print media for production (hooping, pretreating, heat pressing, etc.).
- Load designs/files into machines, adjust settings, and ensure accurate color and placement.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and inventory usage.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and prioritize urgent orders.
- Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating embroidery machines, DTG, and/or DTF printers preferred (training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic knowledge of design file formats (e.g., DST, PNG) and RIP/embroidery software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Ability to lift and move boxes/garments as required (up to ~25 lbs).
