About the role
We are looking for an Operations Manager for our Operations & Transport department. As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a number of responsibilities listed below.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee Operations team
- Ensure that adequate driver resource is available for Operations, to enable them to support Productions.
- To ensure all drivers (PAYE/Self-Employed and Agency) remain compliant as per license, driver CPC and hours.
- To ensure all driver (PAYE/Self-Employed and Agency) records are kept and maintained to legal and Company standards.
- To ensure full legal maintenance requirements and Operators Licence requirements regarding drivers and vehicles.
- To ensure swing driver availability for Operations team to enable them to support Productions, and any specific requirements are met.
- Ensure internal diary system of daily movements is up to date
- To attend on site H&S meeting as required.
- To carry out regular compliance audits.
- Attend planning meetings as required.
- Prepare reports as required.
Required skills and qualifications
- Hold a valid CPC
- Previous experience in running and supporting a team with Customer Service in Operations and Logistics. B
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Capable of multi-tasking,
- Computer literate to include Excel/Word/Power Point/Outlook and spreadsheets
- Be resourceful and organized
- Have the desire to learn and develop your skills you must have a proactive can-do attitude
